Haircut faceoff: Bryce Harper vs. Josh Donaldson

On Thursday night, the American and National Leagues crowned new MVPs. The honor was bestowed upon two home-run sluggers with a flair for the dramatic and very similar haircuts, Bryce Harper and Josh Donaldson. So, it is finally time to answer the age-old (OK, fine, season-old) question: Who wore their hair better during the 2015 season? 

It's an old-fashioned coif off. 

During the season, both Donaldson and Harper had that log-on-the-top, short-on-the-sides, slicked-back 'do that faded into the beard.

Though neither tended to stay so neat over the course of a game.

Harper's was typically styled straight back while Donaldson's had, on occasion, a little extra English on it (not to mention the man-bun).

Both cuts were similarly skilled at defiying gravity.

And, as you can see, both were particularly expressive. You know how some people wear their hearts on their sleeve? Harper and Donaldson wore their hearts on their hair. 

It looks like they're upping the ante for 2016, too. Donaldson is apparently planning a tri-braided Viking-esque look, and Harper did this: 

But that's next year. For now, we have to settle 2015 -- and while they both took home the top honors Thursday, we're not going to let them off that easy. When you have two MVP-caliber players with such strikingly similar haircuts, the people must choose. Vote below:
