Rickie Fowler is a professional golfer and an avid Cardinals fan.
On Sunday, Fowler went 6-under par on the last six holes of the final round of the PGA Players Championship and found himself in a three-way tie atop the leaderboard. He then survived a three-hole aggregate playoff that eliminated Sergio Garcia from competition and then birdied No. 17 to take home a victory, his second on the tour.

Fowler grew up in California, but moved to Jupiter, Fla., home of the Cardinals Spring Training facility. After taking in a bunch of Cardinals exhibition games and befriending players on the roster, Fowler adopted the team as his own and was even present for the 2013 NLCS against the Dodgers.
