Broadcasters joke about head tattoo pact, eat their words when Jason Heyward homers

When your team is down 6-2 in the eighth against the Tigers and are set to face Miguel Cabrera, J.D. Martinez and Yoenis Cespedes to lead off the top of the next inning, you start looking for distractions. That's what helped Cardinals broadcaster Dan McLaughlin and his crew to spot this gem in the crowd at Busch Stadium on Friday:

Upon gazing at the majestic work of art he'd just discovered, McLaughlin decided to liven things up a bit, joking that his partner in the booth, Rick Horton, had promised to get a replica of the thing tattooed onto his head if Jason Heyward homered in the ongoing at-bat.

And wouldn't ya know ...

So, looks like Rick Horton owes us a head tattoo, right? I mean, the guy signed a blood oath ...
