Cards pay homage to championship critter

The rogue rodent that stole the hearts of Cardinals fans during last season's run to a World Series crown has now been immortalized on the team's championship ring.

Beneath the Cardinals logo, but above the player's number, a small icon of said squirrel has been added.

The Cardinals received their rings before Saturday's game against the Cubs. The squirrel was not in attendance.
