Incredible Chinese League catch features outfielder doing a Harlem Globetrotters trick

Chinese League OF makes stunning catch

Most incredible plays in the outfield are of the sliding, diving or leaping variety. An outfielder either gets a bad jump or reaches the furthest limits of his range and -- in one final exertion of energy -- demonstrates an impressive combination of timing and grace to make a spectacular play.

This is not one of those catches.

The right fielder for the Lamigo Monkeys (if you like the team name, you should peep their leopard-print uniforms) of the Chinese Professional Baseball League recently ranged into the gap to track down a fly ball. He reached up to make the grab, but either had a momentary lapse in concentration or decided he wanted to show off, because he busted out a classic Harlem Globetrotters move to make the catch:

Can't wait for him to get the whole EDA Rhinos dugout with the ol' confetti-in-the-water-bucket gag next week.
