Conor Dwyer talks Olympic training at the Cell
Olympic gold medalist and Chicago native Conor Dwyer was on hand for Saturday's White Sox game . Not only did Dwyer throw out the first pitch, but he also sat down for an on-field interview at U.S. Cellular Field.
What did he have to say? Well, he admitted that sometimes it was pretty difficult to motivate himself to wake up at 5 a.m. for training during the cold Chicago winters.
Motivated or unmotivated, it didn't really make a difference -- Dwyer came back from London with a gold medal.
