Crystal the monkey feels pretty comfortable around ballplayers

Crystal might only be a monkey, but she is probably more successful than you. Crystal is an actress. You might have seen her on NBC's Animal Practice -- as well as in Community, Night at the Museum and The Hangover Part II.

Now she can add Ceremonial Pitch Thrower to her resume. Crystal did just that Thursday night in San Diego before the Padres took on the Dodgers. You can venture to bet though that her fastball is not particularly fast.

The fans weren't the only ones to get a little starstruck. Padres first baseman Yonder Alonso and Dodgers pitcher Brandon League posed for photos with Crystal before the game got under way.
