Debbie Trout thanks Torii Hunter for helping her son last season

Torii Hunter was signed by the Tigers on Wednesday, relinquishing his outfield spot at Angel Stadium and leaving behind his younger teammate (and friend) Mike Trout. Hunter has been a big influence on the recent Rookie of the Year winner, teaching him many things -- including the ability to take home runs away from every single player in the league.

Debbie Trout, Mike's mother, took to Twitter to thank Torii for mentoring her son during his first year and Hunter responded with his own gratitude. Pretty sweet.
