Watch Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson star in history's most football-themed MLB highlight

There's little question that Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders are the most famous crossover MLB/NFL players in recent memory (and probably since the days of Jim Thorpe).

On July 17, 1990, both two-sport stars figured prominently in a crazy game in the Bronx. Jackson had been on fire that day, mashing three home runs in his first three plate appearances, one of which flew right over Sanders' head:

But in the sixth inning, Sanders ended up with the wild inside-the-park-home run you see up top -- but only because his line drive just barely eluded Jackson's diving reach.

Bo had to exit the game due to an injury he sustained on the play, ending his shot at a historic four-homer day.

Did Jackson ever take his revenge on the gridiron? Unfortunately no - his Raiders didn't play Prime Time's Falcons during their two overlapping NFL seasons (1989-90).
