Take a picture with the wax version of Derek Jeter
Unless you were lucky enough to be in the Bronx on the day Derek Jeter shot his emotional Gatorade commercial, you probably haven't met The Captain in person. But if you want to convince all of your friends that you have, head over to Madame Tussauds on 42nd St. in New York City:
In celebration of Jeter's final season as a Yankee, the wax museum's statue of him will remain in the lobby until September 28, where any fan stopping by can pose with it:
Fans can also leave their farewell messages for the retiring Captain in a guestbook next to the wax figure:
Which it definitely does not read when it comes alive and walks around the museum at night.
So, you know, don't be afraid to get close!
