Derek Jeter's nephew is the cutest part of the Derek Jeter Farewell Tour

Jeter's nephew cutest part of farewell tour

Three thousand four-hundred sixty-three hits. Fourteen All-Star appearances. Eight 200-hit seasons. Five World Series rings. The Flip Play. The list of Derek Jeter's impressive accomplishments is practically eternal ... but none are as "awww"-inspiring as his relationship with his adorable nephew, Jalen. (BOOM. That's a "family comes first" pun.)

Jalen is the son of Jeter's sister, Sharlee. Throughout The Captain's career, his family has been incredibly supportive, often appearing at Yankee games to cheer him on. His final game at Yankee Stadium was no exception as Mom, Dad, Sister and Jalen were seated (actually, they were standing, everyone was standing) in the first row when Jeet lined a walk-off single to right field in his final at-bat.

Somehow, amidst all of the celebration and ceremony and tears and commentary and history ... little Jalen managed to steal the show.

When the cameras panned over to get a shot of Jeter's family, little Jalen tipped his hat to the crowd because he's adorable and that's what adorable little kids do.

You might not know it, but the cap tip is something of a signature move of little Jalen's. Much like his uncle and the jump-throw, Jalen and the cap tip have become synonymous with each other as the little guy has honed his trade over the course of the Derek Jeter Farewell Tour.

Check him out when the Tigers honored Jeter (a Michigan native) before his last game in Detroit:
