Did you know 'Spike' Albrecht's nickname comes from his love of baseball?

Spike Albrecht scored 17 points during the first half of Monday Night's NCAA championship against Louisville -- hitting deep three's, giving his team a big lead and most importantly, getting his nickname trending on Twitter. But where does the moniker "Spike" come from?
According to MGoBlue.com, it comes from a love of baseball and tendency to wear his spikes constantly as a kid:
"When I was five years old, I got my first pair of baseball spikes," Albrecht said. "Baseball was my favorite sport growing up and I when I got them, I started wearing them everywhere -- out to church, out to eat, and people just started calling me Spike."
We're pretty sure he's not wearing tonight
