Dodgers legend Kirk Gibson once pulled a prank on a young Chris Pine
On Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jack Ryan Captain Kirk Chris Pine shared a bit about his childhood love of the Dodgers -- and about a prank Kirk Gibson pulled on him during the 1988 season.
Pine's father Robert was one of the stars of the late 70's/early 80s television show CHiPs, and got many of the privileges that typically come with celebrity -- including field access before Dodgers games.
Before one game, Pine the Younger met Gibson who, after learning of his dream to sit in the dugout during a game, suggested he ask Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda to make his dream come true.
