Don't tell anyone, but Doug Fister used to be a Giants fan

Before baseball players are baseball players they're fans like us. And probability dictates that it's rare for the fan allegiance someone holds in their youth syncing up with the MLB team they ultimately end up on.

Tigers starter Doug Fister, who will pitch Game 2 for Detroit, grew up a Giants fan in Merced, Calif. He spoke to that on Wednesday when he said that AT&T Park "holds a little more special place in [his] heart," but as you would expect, "it doesn't change what we do on the field."
