Doug Fister bought you a cup of coffee for Christmas
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear ... unless you're a Major League pitcher with enough zeroes in the bank account to justify buying everyone on the Internet a cup of coffee, in which case: do that.
Nationals hurler Doug Fister was feeling a little (or A LOT) festive on Christmas Eve when he tweeted the code to a Starbucks gift card, offering to purchase a beverage for all of his nearest and dearest.
Merry Christmas Eve! Have a Starbucks on us! Have the barista scan the pic below. Don't be a grinch, please use for 1 pic.twitter.com/Npzh6QiyRa

You get a coffee and YOU get a coffee! Everyone gets a coffee!
Fister has approximately 23,000 followers and you've got to assume that at least half of those are actual people and not just bots posing as aspiring models. We know that much is true, because the code emptied out in under an hour:
Sorry for the misunderstanding. The gift card was meant as a first come, first serve until the amount ran out, just a little holiday gift.
