Dustin Pedroia got a ball stuck in his glove and Jerry Remy knew exactly how to fix it
In the bottom of the sixth inning of Wednesday night's Cubs-Red Sox game, Chicago outfielder Chris Coghlan laid down a bunt. Pitcher Felix Dubront quickly fired the ball to Dustin Pedroia, who successfully caught it for the out. Simple, right?
Well, there was a little hiccup in the play -- the ball got stuck in Pedroia's glove:
Partially-toothless Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy then helpfully suggested that the best way to fix it was to "get the baseball out of it."
