Enjoy the sage wisdom of new Royals hitting coach George Brett's press conference

Royals legend George Brett, who spent his entire 21-year playing career in Kansas City, was announced as the team's new interim hitting coach last week. In a press conference Tuesday discussing his return to the dugout, Brett let forth some old-school MLB wisdom that was just too precious to keep to ourselves.

"If you try to be somebody else, we don't have Lorenzo Cain. So just be yourself."

"Out of the 317 home runs I hit in my career, I probably tried to hit five of 'em. And I probably tried to hit a thousand, so I'm 5-1000 trying."

"Circle me! Circle me, will ya?"
