Eric Byrnes admits he was not as good as Bryce Harper
Former Major Leaguer and current MLB Network analyst Eric Byrnes discussed the gloriousness of Bryce Harper on Monday's segment of MLB Tonight. Host Greg Amsinger mentioned that Harper's no-holds-barred play was reminiscent of Byrnes' time in the league, but the former outfielder was quick to deny any comparisons. C'mon, Byrnes-y! Don't be bashful!
Byrnes later admitted that when he was 22 years old (Harper's age), he was "swinging from chandeliers at the Sigma Nu House at UCLA." We're not quite sure who had it better.
