Rays fan wearing Evan Longoria's jersey catches Evan Longoria's foul ball

There's a lot to get through here, so you'll just have to bear with me for a second.

First of all, Evan Longoria hits a towering foul ball right to a fan in the stands who happens to be wearing his jersey. A coincidence? Possibly. But it's the fool who underestimates Evan Longoria.

Secondly, the fan makes an awesome barehanded catch of the thing. Sure, Longo's done that before, but he wasn't wearing khaki shorts. That ups the degree of difficulty while also echoing the beige in the camo-pattern on the jersey -- making the outfit challenging both physically and aesthetically.

Lastly, the fan who made the catch is not only wearing Longoria's jersey, but he clearly goes to the same optometrist as Rays manager Joe Maddon.

I'm not entirely sure what all of this means, but clearly it has some meaning. The Rays have won 26 of their last 32 games -- there's gotta be something cosmic in play.
