Did an alien lifeform visit a Canadian Minor League ballgame? [UPDATE: There's video -- dun dun dun...]
McCovey Cove may have cornered the market on Unidentified Floating Objects, but another mysterious craft was spotted in the skies above Vancouver on Tuesday night. A bright blue light hovered over Scotiabank Field as the Vancouver Canadians took on the Everett AquaSox -- just in time for the home team to score four runs in a single inning. Close encounters of the third-base kind?

Sure, it was probably an airplane. Or a kite. Or pretty much anything besides an extraterrestrial sports fan.
Or is that just what the Canadian government wants you to think?
UPDATE:
Things just got weirder. A fan who attended the game has uploaded video of the aircraft in motion:
Disclosure: as many have pointed out, the so-called UFO is pretty clearly an ascending jet seen from a strange angle. But ... but ... couldn't highly intelligent aliens easily construct an exact replica of our primitive human planes? Maybe? Possibly?
