Five cap patches we would like to see following the D-backs' beautiful Randy Johnson emblem
Five cap patches we want following Randy Johnson one

Following Randy Johnson's election into the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Arizona Diamondbacks will be retiring his No. 51 during a special ceremony at Saturday's game against the Reds. And to ring in the day, the team will also be wearing an amazing Randy Johnson patch on their caps.

- Darren Rovell (@darrenrovell) August 4, 2015Tattoo artists in the Phoenix area: you may want to start practicing this design now as there are going to be a lot of very happy D-backs fans looking to get this as a full back piece that night.
That also got us thinking: What are some other baseball moments that we wish were commemorated as beautiful patches? Here are five we'd like to see:
Adam Dunn takes the mound
There are some moments stamped in time. Moments that, no matter how long ago they were, they remain lodged in your memory -- like the mosquito in amber from "Jurassic Park." (The good one, not the new one.) Moments like when the hulking, powerful, three-true-outcomes Adam Dunn became a two-way player.
Let this one live on in a hat, too.

Nolan Ryan and Robin Ventura's fight
Ali vs. Frazier. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. Ryan vs. Ventura. These are the greatest fights to ever go down. And finally, there is a hat for it.

Pedro Martinez wears a Yoda mask in the dugout
Not every patch must commemorate greatness. Some can simply be patches commemorating something great happening. Like when Pedro Martinez wore a Yoda mask in the dugout in 1998.

Craig Counsell's Batting Stance
Of course, we must also take time to recognize pure beauty. And what is more beautiful than the statuesque, carved-out-of-marble batting stance of former Brewer and current Brewers manager Craig Counsell?
Of course, to accurately portray his stance, the patch will have to go above the actual cap and be held up by some seriously intense thread and glue, but that's OK. Beauty will not be restrained.

Bobby Valentine wears a disguise
This summer, the 97th "Mission Impossible" movie came to theaters, earning over $55 million in its first weekend at the box office. And why does everyone like these movies so much? Simple: The disguises.

And has there ever been a better baseball diguise than when Bobby Valentine put on a fake mustache and snuck back into the dugout after having been ejected?
Even better, on this night, the Mets could give away fake mustaches for the fans to wear, too. No one will know who anyone is!
