Florida Gators pulled the hidden ball trick on College of Charleston

According to Baseball America, the Florida Gators are the third-best college baseball team in the country. And, somehow, we doubt that ranking takes into account the game's intangibles, like "grit" or the ability to successfully pull off the hidden ball trick during a regional game.

The Gators were playing the College of Charleston Cougars on Friday when Florida pitcher Logan Shore stepped off the mound in the first inning to "tie his shoe" aka wait for the runner on second to step off the bag so that shortstop Richie Martin could tag him out.
