From Winnipeg to Florida, Jays fans journey to the Trop

The Blue Jays fans above came all the way from Winnipeg to enjoy the Sunshine State (and Monday's Jays-Rays game). After visiting Disney World and Busch Gardens earlier in the week, they made it to Tropicana Field to root for their favorite team. They even brought signs to cheer on Pat Tabler and Buck Martinez, the Jays' announcers.
We also found two fans who both live in Sydney, Nova Scotia and randomly ended up in the same row for the Jays-Rays on Monday. Sydney is home to just over 30,000 people and is more than 2,000 miles from St. Petersburg. While they differ on their favorite hockey and baseball teams, both root for the Cape Breton University Capers, located just northeast of Sydney.
They have common friends, and the gentleman in the Rays shirt pulled the other guy's father's tooth. Known through a mutual friend, they've met before in Sydney. Michael, in the Rays shirt, called this a, "once in a lifetime chance meeting."
