George Springer is now sporting a mohawk, calls it 'Joe Ventura'
Springer has named his new mohawk Joe Ventura
Astros phenom George Springer began growing a mohawk last season and showed up at camp this year proud of his look.

No, that's not him. That's Mr. T.
But, as you can see in the main video, the outfielder has kept the sides of his hair very short and the top long, flowing and, well, wild.
"There's really no explanation for it," he said. "It started in May with Dexter [Fowler] and it kind of just stuck with it and I got to the offseason and figured I would stick with it again, and now here I am and it's all over the place and it's fun."
Springer calls the look "Joe Ventura," a mix between movie characters Joe Dirt and Ace Ventura.
"The way I see it, it describes who I am, I guess, and it's my bad haircut," he said.
Not surprisingly, the reaction to Springer's look has been varied.
"I've gotten everything you could think of - 'It looks good, it looks horrible. What is that? There's something on your head. Clean yourself up. That looks pretty good. I like it,'" he said. Pretty much I heard it all."
Springer's parents, though, are on board with it.
"They're actually surprisingly a fan of it," he said. "That was one of the things I was expecting my mom to say it looks dumb or something like that, but she didn't. She said, 'You know what, I can kind of see that on you.' I said, 'All right, I'm going to stick with it.'"
One thing's for sure, it hasn't hindered the 25-year-old's ability to destroy baseballs:
