SF third-base coach sings anthem with Grateful Dead

Quick, ask your dad the following questions: 

You: What is the best band in the world?

Dad: The Grateful Dead

You: What is better than the Grateful Dead?

Dad: Baseball.

That's how you know that he would gladly trade places with Giants third base coach Tim Flannery, who opened Tuesday's NLCS Game 3 by singing the national anthem with Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. 

As you may have noticed in the video above, Flannery has a surprisingly lovely voice. Well, he's not surprised -- the former Padre plays with his own band called the Lunatic Fringe, has released ten albums and is currently working on an eleventh. He's also friends with Jackson Browne, Garth Brooks and Jimmy Buffet.
