Randal Grichuk probably jumped dimensions to make this fantastic sliding catch

Is Cardinals right fielder Randal Grichuk a being from another planet? At the very least, he must have some kind of trans-dimensional power. Because during Sunday night's NLCS Game 2, Grichuk managed to tesseract his way under Buster Posey's fly ball, robbing the Giants catcher of a hit: 

In this picture, he appears to be wearing an entire bodysuit, gloves to socks, under his uniform -- presumably to protect his skin from our atmosphere:

But wait, you say, I can see his bare hands in the first GIF. 

But what if those are the real gloves?
