10 key moments from Friday's Tigers-A's ALDS Game 1
The Athletics hosted the Tigers for Game 1 of the ALDS on Friday. The first battle between the champions of the AL West and the AL Central ended in a 3-2 victory for Detroit.

Miggy Cabrera hit an RBI single straight through Bartolo Colon's five-hole, driving in Austin Jackson for the game's first run.
The Tigers would score twice more in the first inning, but Oakland fans didn't let that get to them.
Not even a little bit.
After that three-run rally, the A's defense successfully kept the Tigers at bay. Watch Colon nab Torii Hunter at second in the fifth:
Max Scherzer -- here practicing his own pickoffs before the game -- begrudgingly approves.
Josh Reddick narrowly prevented a fourth Detroit run by catching Victor Martinez at the plate with this gorgeous throw in the sixth.
Yoenis Cespedes reminded us how he won the Home Run Derby with a clutch two-run dinger in the seventh.
This #FANtasking young man was so psyched that he could hardly keep his jersey on.
But the Tigers had a not-so-secret weapon in Scherzer. The starter struck out 11 batters before leaving after seven, having allowed only a single hit over the first six frames.
With the home team down by only one run as they entered the eighth, A's fans rocked out. Hard.
But Oakland couldn't close the gap -- the Tigers won the first game of the ALDS, 3-2. The two teams will take the field at O.co Coliseum once again on Saturday night.
