Greg Maddux's ugly Christmas sweater is now the best thing about Twitter

Greg Maddux has made his Twitter debut, and you need to follow him immediately. Though Mad Dog hasn't tweeted much yet, his picture is definitely worth 140 characters.

The (seemingly unironic) avatar is incredible. Maddux stares wistfully off-camera as his
moose-adorned sweater stylishly power-clashes with the collar of a magenta polo shirt.

When you're one of the greatest pitchers of all time, an ugly Christmas sweater is an ugly
whenever-the-heck-you-want sweater. And don't call it ugly, either.

Maddux began to tweet with regularity only yesterday, but he actually joined the site
back in December. His first tweet, to his daughter Paige, demonstrates a seasoned AOL
dial-up user's understanding of the Interwebs:
