Happy 39th birthday to retired slugger Paul Konerko!
It's only been a little more than five months since longtime White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko hung 'em up after an impressive 18-year MLB career, but we miss him already.
Today is Konerko's 39th birthday -- ostensibly the first in quite a while that he'll celebrate somewhere other than the White Sox Spring Training clubhouse. To celebrate, we'd like to take a look at some of our favorite classic Konerko moments, like his first home run for the White Sox:

Konerko was a staple at first base on the South Side for a decade and a half. We hope he has one heck of a day "spending more time with the family" or out on the links or whatever else it is that retired guys do without baseball.
