Happy 55th birthday to World Series hero Joe Carter

If you're a Phillies fan, please click this link to enjoy a video of Chase Utley playing with a puppy while the rest of us wish Joe Carter a happy 55th birthday.

Carter -- a five-time All-Star -- enjoyed a 16-year MLB career predominantly comprised of six seasons with the Indians and seven with the Blue Jays. He belted 396 career home runs, won two Silver Slugger Awards and earned MVP votes in eight seasons.

His career highlights didn't stop when he officially hung 'em up, as he snagged a foul ball at a game in 2010 and knocked a homer over the wall in the 2012 Celebrity All-Star Game in Kansas City.

But, really, we're all here to marvel at the incredible end to Game 6 of the 1993 World Series, when Carter stepped to the dish and hit a walk-off blast over the left-field wall to secure a second straight Commissioner's Trophy for the Blue Jays:

Be sure to wish @JoeCarter_29 a happy 55th birthday today. Once a World Series hero, always a World Series hero ... it even says it right there in his Twitter bio.
