Heat forward Juwan Howard and Dolphins cornerback Sean Smith talk baseball at Marlins Park

It's true, the Marlins could use some pitching to spark a second-half run.

Six-foot-9 Heat forward Juwan Howard and Dolphins 6-foot-3 cornerback Sean Smith threw out first pitches at Marlins Park on Tuesday night prior to a game against the Braves. These guys definitely have the build to play baseball, but what about their attitudes towards America's pastime?

Howard admitted the game was his "first love" and Smith seemed to think he was auditioning for a spot in the rotation.

"This is my official debut -- my tryout for the Marlins," the Dolphins star said.

The Marlins have a few roster spots open after their recent trades. Could Smith and Howard be the answers?
