Here's video of a Minor League DJ intern getting ejected for playing Three Blind Mice

It was the call heard around the world:

"Derek Dye was just ejected from the game! Derek Dye was ejected from the game! THAT IS AWESOME! THAT IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Derek Dye was ejected from the game! WOW! That is so cool! That is unbelievable!"

But Derek Dye isn't a player. He isn't even a coach. Dye is actually a University of Illinois student interning for the Daytona Cubs, Chicago’s Class A affiliate in the Florida State League.

After umpire Mario Seneca made a disputed call during Wednesday’s game, Dye, who was in charge of the music for the night, started playing "Three Blind Mice." This did not amuse Seneca, who promptly turned around and threw Dye out of the game.

“I knew it was my fault," Dye said. "I didn't think he'd get angry. I just started laughing. I was shocked. Disbelief."

Seneca later posted on his Facebook page, "The good news is that I called my league president afterwards, and he said I did the correct thing. His opinion is pretty much the only one that matters, since he's my boss."
