Idol finalist Reinhart sings at anthem at the Cell
Coming back to her hometown of Chicago, American Idol season 10 finalist Haley Reinhart had a "pretty epic weekend." She became the first contestant from the show to appear on stage at Lollapalooza on Friday, and just 48 hours later, she sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" at U.S. Cellular Field. It had been a dream of hers since she was a little girl.
"My dad grew up on the North Side, but he was a born diehard Sox fan," the singer-songwriter said. "It's been in my blood since a very young age. [U.S. Cellular] is a second home to me now."
Reinhart also donned the White Sox logo when she participated in the Celebrity and Legends Softball Game during the All-Star break in Kansas City.
