Internet sensation 'Hero Cat' throws out Minor League first pitch

Internet celebrity and future Cat President Tara, aka the Hero Cat, visited the Bakersfield Blaze (a Class A affiliate of the Reds) on Tuesday.

Tara rose to prominence when a video of her rescuing a young boy from the clutches of an evil dog went viral online. Check it out:

In recognition of this courageous feat, Tara was invited to toss out a ceremonial first pitch before the Blaze took on the awesomely-named Lancaster Jethawks (an Astros affiliate).

The young boy that Tara rescued also got to throw a first pitch, and you can watch them both below (Hero Cat's toss comes at around the 2:05 mark):

It wasn't the best first pitch, but Hero Cat has a good explanation:

Well, I gave it my best shot, but my humans really got in the way. Everyone knows I'm left pawed.
