Is that an Oriole? Bird causes hectic scene during Yanks-Sox game

Usually, when a bird is on the ground, it will eventually fly away. That's what birds do. They fly.

So, it seemed strange that a member of the Yankee Stadium grounds crew sprinted out in the middle of the game on Tuesday night to remove one of our feathered friends. The man continued to chase down the bird for about a minute (with a bucket?) until it flew into foul territory.

Why the rush to get the little guy off the field? Did the Yanks know something we didn't? Friend of an Oriole, perhaps?
