David Freese could be set on another great postseason

David Freese thoroughly enjoys playing in the month of October. Before Thursday's ALDS Game 1 between the Royals and Angels, he'd compiled a .289/.357/.518 slash line with 48 hits, seven home runs and 29 RBIs in 48 career postseason games. He won the NLCS and World Series MVP back in 2011.

Well, on Thursday, the Angels third baseman kicked off his 2014 campaign with familiar flair -- tying the game at 2 with a fifth-inning home run.

Freese

 Freese was later lifted for a pinch-runner (even Mike Scioscia knows it's unfair to keep the postseason legend on the field for an entire game) and the Royals fell to the Angels 3-2, but we're guessing we'll see more of him this series. And hopefully we get more dugout celebrations such as the below.
