Did a Game 1 homer mark the beginning of another epic postseason for David Freese?
David Freese could be set on another great postseason
David Freese thoroughly enjoys playing in the month of October. Before Thursday's ALDS Game 1 between the Royals and Angels, he'd compiled a .289/.357/.518 slash line with 48 hits, seven home runs and 29 RBIs in 48 career postseason games. He won the NLCS and World Series MVP back in 2011.

You definitely remember this:
Well, on Thursday, the Angels third baseman kicked off his 2014 campaign with familiar flair -- tying the game at 2 with a fifth-inning home run.
Freese was later lifted for a pinch-runner (even Mike Scioscia knows it's unfair to keep the postseason legend on the field for an entire game) and the Royals fell to the Angels 3-2, but we're guessing we'll see more of him this series. And hopefully we get more dugout celebrations such as the below.
