It must be Halloween because Bryce Harper is totally a clown, bro

If you've ever watched It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, you'll remember how Lucy, before pulling on her witch mask, says "A person should always choose a costume which is in direct contrast to her own personality."

Bryce Harper certainly seemed to be heeding Lucy's wisdom on Halloween. The Nationals star, and dismisser of all things clownlike, showed off his rainbow-wigged, red-nosed, oversized-polka-dotted-bowtied costume on Twitter.

And lest there be any confusion about his true nature, he topped it all off with one of his "DON'T BE A CLOWN BRO" shirts. Well done, Bryce. Lucy would be proud.
