Jay-Z has officially applied to become a baseball agent

The Major League Baseball Players Association confirmed Friday that Jay-Z has applied to become a certified baseball agent. Partnered with CAA, Hova's Roc Nation Sports recently signed Robinson Cano as its first client.

Jay-Z may be a world-famous rapper, respected entrepreneur and .07-percent owner of the Nets -- though he'll have to sell his shares in the team to avoid conflict-of-interest issues in representing basketball players -- but is he prepared for the unique challenges of life as a sports agent?
