Jeremy Guthrie and Shane Victorino pledge Rose Bowl allegiance to the Ducks
Guthrie and Victorino are rooting for the Ducks
When the Oregon Ducks and Florida State Seminoles face off in the Rose Bowl on Thursday -- and the first round of the inaugural College Football Playoff -- you may not know who to root for. The two teams are the second and third ranked in the country, after all, with last year's Heisman Trophy winner (Jameis Winston) and this year's (Marcus Mariota) facing off.
But for two MLB favorites, the choice is clear: Oregon Ducks, all the way. And they have the custom swag to prove it.
Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie, an Oregon native, is rooting for his hometown team:
