Joe Maddon buys Bud Black a bottle of wine; hopes to toast over a World Series matchup

On Friday, Rays skipper and wine connoisseur Joe Maddon sent a bottle of 2009 Emilio Mora to the visiting manager's room at Tropicana Field for current Padres manager and former Angels coaching pal Bud Black.

The bottle came with a note that had explicit instructions -- "Do not open until a 'Padrays' World Series."

Wine gets better with age but Maddon acknowledged that he would happily sacrifice the maturity of the "vino" in hopes of a Rays-Padres Fall Classic this October.
