John Oates rocked a sweet, sweet Phillies-themed guitar on The Tonight Show

Philadelphia native John Oates (of Hall and Oates, of course) visited Monday's Tonight Show, sitting in with fellow Philly natives The Roots and rocking his very own pinstriped Phillies guitar.

The appearance was a precursor to this Thursday, when Roots frontman/drummer/resident-awesome-person Questlove will induct Oates and Daryl Hall into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Oates' Philly pride runs deep -- he sang the national anthem before Game 5 of the 2008 World Series when Hall fell ill. That game wound up being pretty notable:
