John Smoltz uses ball from 200th win when playing catch with his son
John Smoltz discussed his habit of misplacing some of his most important baseball memorabilia during Wednesday's Hall of Fame press conference. One story, that you can listen to in the above video, stuck out:
"I've been known to play catch with my 200th-win ball with my son, recognizing later that it was written '200th win' on there."
Careful, John. You don't wanna lose a ball that valuable. There's no telling what you might need to do to get it back.
