Jose Abreu continues to break stuff

When we last checked in with Jose Abreu, he was busy (literally) destroying baseballs and torturing opposing pitchers with a week big enough to see from space. After busting the guts out of a baseball on Tuesday, Abreu hit two home runs in a game against the Rockies and doubled down on that performance with another two longballs in Thursday's game against the Indians.

All of Abreu's success this week couldn't save him on Saturday, though, as he struck out three times and grounded into a double play, stranding four men on base as his White Sox lost to the Tribe by the equivalent of two field goals.

When Abreu fanned on a Justin Masterson pitch in the bottom of the fourth, he let the bat slip out of his hands. It crashed into the backstop phone, knocking the padding off and opening the thing up:
