Altuve breaks Biggio's record in front of him

History was brewing on Tuesday evening when the Astros hosted the Indians at Minute Maid Park as Jose Altuve entered play with 209 hits on the season, one shy of Craig Biggio's all-time franchise record.

Biggio was on-hand when Altuve came up for his third at-bat of the game and slapped his 43rd double of the year into left field to equal Biggio's impressive mark:

A mere two innings later, Altuve added a single to his line score and set the new Astros franchise record for hits in a season:

... AND he's still got another two weeks of baseball left to play.

For their part, the Tribe won the game 4-2.
