Jose Altuve gets sneak peek at All-Star jersey
Jose Altuve had to wait until a pregame ceremony to receive his All-Star jersey, but he got a preview from Frank Villalobos during batting practice.
"I came in pretty early, I got here about 1 o'clock," Villalobos said. "I wanted to be here to get autographs and hopefully get the Altuve jersey, which I did. When I got into the Union Station store, they told me they just put it out."
Villalobos is among the group of fans that frequent the Home Run Alley during games, hoping to make a snag on a long ball. Check out this video to hear about the first home run ball he caught.
This is not Villalobos' first Altuve jersey -- he also has one from his time with the Astros' Double-A affiliate, the Corpus Christi Hooks.
"He was a very good player; also J.D. Martinez and Jimmy Paredes," Villalobos said. "They are very good players, I can see why they got called up very quickly."
