A humble motion to use this Josh Hamilton sliding catch as the new definition of 'just joshing you'
Hamilton catch redefines 'just joshing you'
With Albert Pujols on third during the second inning of the Angels-Rangers game in Arlington, Shane Victorino hit a ball deep to Josh Hamilton in left field. It even looked for a moment like Hamilton wasn't going to make the catch and Victorino would end up with a sacrifice-fly-turned-double -- let's just say Hamilton's route to the ball could've been a little more efficient.
But he was -- wait for it -- just joshin' everybody.

The only proper reaction to that catch: JOSH. JOOOOOSSSHHHHH.
And then Hamilton immediately followed that catch with a throw nearly as spectacular, hitting the relay man and missing Pujols at the plate by nanoseconds, if only Pujols wasn't such a speedster.
It's official -- "just joshing you" needs to be redefined. It has had long enough as a substitute for "just kidding." I mean, how many catches like this does Hamilton have to make before we as a human race give the phrase new meaning as a testament to his abilities in left?
