The fight continues: J.P. Arencibia and Orbit exchange blows in latest battle

J.P. Arencibia and Orbit in latest battle.

Hatfields vs. McCoys. Tyson vs. Holyfield. Sonic vs. Dr. Robotnik. You can add a new pair to this list of history's greatest battles:

J.P. Arencibia vs Orbit, the Astros mascot.

Orbit fought back with a barrage of Hunter Pence-esque signs

Orbit

While we can debate the merits of such a sign (after all, only a sociopath wouldn't cry during The Notebook), clearly a war was brewing.

On Friday, Arencibia fired the next shot. Calling into question Orbit's Houston loyalty, the Rangers catcher placing this image throughout Minute Maid Park.

A photo like that can tear families apart. And though Orbit claims that the image has been edited, so far our photo experts can't say for certain. They looked at the pixels and everything.

Orbit wasn't willing to admit defeat.

No one knew what to expect. More signs? Would Orbit leap onto the field and give Arencibia a wedgie?

Then it happened. While Arencibia was taking batting practice, this was put up on the Jumbotron:

If Orbit's goal was to keep Arencibia from blasting dingers, then it looks like he succeeded:

Afterwards, Arencibia was happy to sign a poster for Orbit, sending his love.

JP signs

Does this mean the feud is over? The Rangers will be in town for two more days, so we'll have to wait and see if Arencibia has anything else up his sleeve.
