J.T. Snow and Darren Baker reunite, 12 years after their unforgettable World Series moment

This is what J.T. Snow and Darren Baker look like now

Twelve years ago, during Game 5 of the 2002 World Series, Giants first baseman J.T. Snow saved Darren Baker -- then-Giants manager Dusty Baker's 3-year-old son -- from the chaos of home plate. Sunday, for Game 5 of the 2014 World Series, they reunited once again.

Back in 2002, as he crossed home plate to score with third baseman David Bell not far behind, Snow pulled the young Baker into his arms to usher him away from the scrum. This is what they looked like then:

And this is what they look like now, joining Amanda Blanco from the Boys and Girls Club to deliver the ball for Game 5 Sunday:

Luckily, no one had to be whisked away from home plate Sunday night. And while their 2014 reunion wasn't quite as memorable as their first encounter, we think it was pretty great.

The pair also came together in 2012 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their brush with danger.

We believe that by law of the universe, Snow and Baker are required to reunite every few years until Baker saves Snow from another impending scrum and the debt is repaid.
