Kate Upton explains why she doesn't wear Tigers gear at Yankee Stadium

Listen, we're all jealous of Kate Upton and Justin Verlander's relationship. Last week, Upton stopped by Yankee Stadium to watch Verlander pitch against the Bronx Bombers, and the two were simply saccharine:  

Once you made it through the vortex of adorable created by the couple, you may have noticed that Upton was not wearing any team's insignia. She's been spotted in a Tigers cap before, so what happened? 

Upton provided some detail last week on Live With Kelly and Michael. Apparently, despite being born in Michigan, she was a Yankees fan before she began dating Verlander. But now that she's begun, well, seeing the enemy, Upton says the Yankees have asked her not to wear any Detroit apparel at Yankee Stadium. Presumably, seeing her with her new team would just hurt too much. Of course, Upton still has one use for her old Yanks cap: When she wants to make Verlander angry.
