But do you know about Lofton's musical career? The six-time All-Star began writing music at the University of Arizona, where he and future Grammy Award-winner Harvey Mason Jr. were teammates on the basketball team. You may (or may not) recall 'Wild About the Cats":
Along with being the inspiration for a J.Cole song, on Monday, we learned that Lofton actually co-wrote "What If" -- a hit song off Ruben Studdard's Billboard-topping album Soulful. Here's the dream team's creation below:
